Me and Mom

Raised by generations of gardeners, digging in the dirt was my childhood pastime.

My name is Robyn Lindblad. I’m a certified horticulturist.

My love of gardening and all things flowers sprouted as a young girl, digging in the dirt next to my parents’ perennially blooming garden. Over the years, this infatuation was nurtured and cultivated by the most gifted gardener I know, my mother. Side by side we weeded and mulched, planted and trimmed. I watched our garden bloom and go dormant and re-bloom each year, always changing, but forever a source of joy. Both personally and professionally, gardening has been a constant well of inspiration, connecting me to people of all ages, and to nature. Following a professional career in the not-for-profit sector and time spent raising a family, I turned my passion into a business venture, Best of All Seasons, providing seasonal containers to homes bordering the North Shore, where I live. Inspired by this initial success, I turned to the Chicago Botanic Garden’s botanical lab and garden sanctuary to obtain an advanced horticultural certification. I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work seasonally at the CBG’s Butterflies & Blooms at the same time, rounding out my knowledge of the natural world. Today, combining all facets of my experience, from the early days of digging in the soil and nurturing plants, in my mother’s garden, to my ongoing commitment to horticultural education, I am thrilled to announce Best of All Seasons is back in bloom. My expanded business offers consulting services to gardeners at all levels, from those who want to learn to create their very own oasis, to those who prefer a hands-off approach to enjoying the ever changing colors of our four seasons.
